The 2021 AORC season finally got underway at Golden Beach, Victoria over the weekend. With the Shop Yamaha Off-Road Racing, Yamaha bLU-cRU Off road and the Yamaha MXstore Ballards Off-Road Teams in action across a variety of classes the Michelin Starcross Range and THOR Racewear was put to the test across the 2 days of racing.

11 time Australian Champion, Jessica Gardiner put the rest of the women’s class on notice by taking the win in both super sprints and the overall on Saturday. Sunday looked like it was set to be more of the same from Gardiner who dominated the first 3 women’s sprints before going down hard in the 4th sprint. Jess remounted and managed to salvage valuable championship points, with a third place for the day.
