With the 2024 mi-bike Motorcycle Insurance Australian Superbike Championship presented by Motul (ASBK) beginning at Phillip Island, the ASBK Management Team is delighted that Michelin will return as naming rights partner for the Supersport class.

Racing has been an integral and critical aspect of Michelin’s activities since it was founded, serving not only as a marketing channel but also offering proof-of-concept for the company’s extensive R&D process.

The Michelin Group now sells tyres in over 170 countries across a multitude of applications — including, of course, motorcycles.

“d,” said Michelin Australia’s Doug Sharp.

“In recent years, we’ve seen the likes of Cameron Dunker, Olly Simpson and John Lytras show their talent in the Supersport category.

“We’re sure that 2024 will again deliver great racing and we are looking forward to the first round at Phillip Island.”“Motorcycling Australia are excited to see the continued support of Michelin in the Australian Supersport Championship,” said Motorcycling Australia CEO Peter Doyle.

“Supersport is one of the jewels in the crown of ASBK, with many riders honing their craft and showing their potential in this fantastic category.”
