For Immediate release

The all new Beta RX 450 went through its first gate drops of the 24’ season, with Levi Rogers at the helm for the Caloundra Motorcycles Dealership backed team at Round 1 of the Sunshine State MX Series at Hervey Bay.

Levi rode to a strong 7th overall in the MX1 Pro class in a stacked field, gaining valuable data and testing settings on the all-new 450 RX each time he hit the track.

With the release of the all-new Beta RX 450, the first purpose-built motocross bike from Beta, Beta Motorcycles Australia is pleased to announce that they will now be venturing into the world of motocross here in Australia.

Rogers will compete in the 2024 Australian ProMX Championship on board the Caloundra Motorcycle Centre Beta RX 450.

Backed by Gas Imports, Levi Rogers and the Caloundra Motorcycles Centre team will continue with Michelin running the all new StarCross 6 tyre range. Rogers will also be supported by the Thor MX ‘24 Collection and Spy Optics Motocross goggles.

“ I’m very excited to be representing Beta Motorcycles on the start line at ProMX. Our first race at Hervey Bay for the Sunshine State series was great to continue testing ahead of round 1 in Wonthaggi next month. I felt confident on the bike and feel like we’re heading in the right direction.” – Levi Rogers

For 2024, Gas Imports have expanded their support to the entire Beta Racing Australia program with the championship winning Neken Handlebars.

“We’re committed to continue to support domestic racing across two wheel disciplines. Having Neken on board with Beta Motorcycles as a manufacturer whilst Gas Imports continues our relationship with Caloundra Motorcycles and Levi Rogers at the ProMX level is fantastic continuity for our brands. – Doug Sharp, Gas Imports.

Round 1 of the Australian ProMX Championship takes place at Wonthaggi, Victoria March 17th 2024.
