BCP HAS Honda Junior Development Team rider Seth Shackleton had a day of mixed results at Gillman’s Round 3 of the Pro MX series, showing lightning speed during qualifying with a strong fourth fastest in group qualifying, followed by incredible speed in the early stages of moto 1.

The number 65 machine started well and made his way into 5th place where he would stay for the bulk of moto 1 before finishing a credible 6th place. Another solid start in moto 2 saw Shackleton come together with multiple riders in a first turn incident, resulting in a charge from the rear of the field, eventually finishing 9th for the moto and 7th overall.

Shackleton continues to hold down 7th overall in the MX3 class but now has moved up to the highest placed junior rider in the field!

“That was a tough slog today,” said Shackleton.

“I know where I want to be and where I believe I should be! We’ve been struggling a little with set up against these guys but I’m confident we’ll be in a much better place come Maitland for Round4!”

Round 4 of the Pro MX series heads next to Maitland in NSW May 26th!
