Shackleton crowned the ‘Kid’ of Manjimup 15000 for 2024
The iconic Cosy Creek Motocross circuit in Manjimup, Western Australia was the site of the latest running of the Manjimup 15000 over the weekend!
With big name riders from across the globe attending the three day event, it was BCP HAS Honda Junior Development Team rider Seth Shackleton who played a starring role at Saturday’s Junior event, taking the win in the premiere Junior 250cc ‘Kid’ of Manjimup category.
“This is such a huge event on the calendar for WA and to see so many big name riders across was so good,” said Shackleton after the win.
“I felt good all day on the bike but you really needed to have your starts on point with the races being so short. We were so lucky that the rain held off until Saturday night so our track conditions were amazing.”
The WA based Honda Factory Team rider will line up next weekend in another iconic Western Australian race called ‘The King on the Sand’ which will be held at the notoriously deep sandy track of AJS!
“I’m very much looking forward to back to back sand tracks and hopefully we can do well there before starting our preparation for Murray Bridge Pro MX,” said Shackleton.
The next round of Pro MX will be held in Murray Bridge, SA on June 23rd!
