The Caloundra Motorcycle Centre (CMC) BETA Australia Team and Levi Rogers continue to progress, impressing on the first ProMX competition season for the All-New BETA RX450.

After narrowly missing out on the MX1 SuperPole session by placing 11th in THOR MX1 Qualifying, Rogers went to the start line in Moto 1 with a point to prove that he belonged inside the Top Ten in the THOR MX1 class.

At the conclusion of Moto1 Rogers achieved just that, matching his season best Moto score with a 10th position.

In Moto 2, Rogers would run as high as 7th place until the halfway mark, where a small mistake would see Rogers stuck under the bike, with lots of work to do upon remounting.

Rogers charged from the back side of the Top 20 riders, all the way to 15th position as the chequered flag flew.

With 10-15 Moto scores, Rogers finished 11th overall at Round 5 from Murray Bridge.

“The track was a real test for us today on the new bike and it is clear to see we are going in the right direction. We made some changes after Moto 1 and I was feeling great on the bike, being aggressive and running well inside the top 10. One mistake cost me, but I’m excited to keep this momentum rolling for the rest of the season,” commented Rogers.

The CMC BETA Australia Team will now focus on the QLD Championships taking place at QMP from Friday 28th June to Monday July 1st.
