Young gun 15 year old Queensland rider Jacob Salih is the latest signing for the BCP Factory Honda Junior Development Team!

Salih will pilot the BCP Honda CRF250R throughout the 2024 race season at all Pro MX rounds in the MX3 category alongside team-mate and reigning National Junior Champion Seth Shackleton, while also competing in local Qld State Championships and the National Junior MX Titles in WA.

“I’m so excited to have the opportunity to race for the Factory Honda Junior Team in my final year of juniors,” commented Salih.

“From the moment I had my first ride on the Honda I’ve just gelled with the bike and I’m pumped to begin our off season testing and training so we’re ready to go at the start of 2024.”

With one more rider announcement coming in the next fortnight the three rider BCP Factory Honda Junior Team will be hoping for another successful year in 2024!

“We definitely had a year to remember this year for 2023 with Seth (Shackleton) winning two state titles and a National Junior Title along with both Darci Whalley and Hixson McInnes winning their own respective state titles,” said Team Manager Lee Hogan.

“But with Darci and Hixson turning senior for 2024 it has made room for two new and exciting riders to come on board. Jacob ticks all the boxes for me and has a great family network behind him which is so important. He has great technique on the bike and a huge work ethic! I can’t wait to announce the third and final member of our 2024 lineup and get started for the new season.”
