Gas welcomes Patrol Mountain Bikes

GAS Imports, the Australian importer and distributor of leading Motorcycle brands such as Michelin, Akrapovic exhausts and THOR apparel, today announce their exclusive distribution rights of Patrol Mountain Bikes (Patrol) in Australia.

Patrol is still a family-owned business that started in 1964 (United Bicycle Co). In 1991 the family opened and started manufacturing. In 2013 Arifin Tedja, the grandson of the founders began to develop and distribute the high-end brand Patrol to the international market.

Patrol is based in Jakarta with roots deep in Australia, Patrol use Australian riders to test, shred and help develop their range of bikes across the board. Patrol is not just another “Me Too” MTB brand. Having full control over design and manufacturing, Patrol keeps up with, and sets new trends and benchmarks in the MTB industry!

The Patrol range starts out with kids cycle and e-bikes, before progressing across a full size range of adult E-Bikes, Enduro & Gravel Bikes with industry leading technology, components and performance.

GAS Imports owner Doug Sharp is thrilled to expand the GAS Imports two wheeled footprint into Mountain Bikes and E-Bikes.

“The cross-over between Motorcycles and Mountain Bikes with E-Bikes has been merging for some time now. The way customers are purchasing these high end Mountain & E-Bikes is further connecting the Motorcycle and Bicycle industries together.” said Mr Sharp.
